COCO FOUND IN A BOX

This is Coco. She is only 6 weeks old and was found in a box outside a shelter. A wonderful AWL volunteer is fostering her right now, together with her own dog and one cat.
She can be adopted in a couple of weeks to a nice calm forever dog. We think she wont be bigger than a medium size dog.

FRECKLES WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION DAY THIS SATURDAY

Lindsay and Freckless
Update, Finally we got some good news and that also thanks to Sarah from NFOA. I meet Freckless "mom" who had been feeding her outside their gate for months. She wanted to bring F inside but with 3 dogs in the house there were no more room. Lindsay have been keeping an eye on F giving her a warm blanket and a tummy full off food every day. Last Monday I met Lindsay with Freckless, I have to say Lindsay had thought about everything; collar, leach, vitamin, food, blanket, treats and a toy. How heartwarming and thoughtful. Lindsay cried when saying good bye to Freckless and so did I, it was very touching.

Sarah from NFOA are helping us and I am so thankful for that. Freckless will be at the adoption day that NFOA will have this Saturday.

If I didn't have 17 dogs I would bring her home, she is so sweet and loving, wants attention the whole time. We will follow her and make sure she will have/get a loving forever home.

She showed up with her sister in a Parco. Her sister was sadly hit by a car.
AWL needs your help to get her a warm home, a foster home will also be wonderful. We don't want her to be killed by a car or that something else is going hurt her. Winter, with it's rain and cold is coming soon!

AWL will have her sterilized, de-wormed, blood-test and frontlined. Three days quarantine at the vet clinic before handing her over, to ensure there is no unknown problems. She is not even one-year-old, good with children --she is still living outside. She is a lovely giving, young, smart girly, that will not survive without your help --please have a heart for Freckles.

HI MY NAME IS FRECKLES BUT YOU CAN CALL ME WHATEVER YOU WANT, I WILL ANYWAY LOVE YOU FOREVER.

M'LANN IS LOOKING FOR YOU

Adoption or Foster? Please don't let your heart close ...give her a warm Christmas.
Found on base, no microchip, no collar....she is right now together with other dogs, and she is so fantastic towards them, and children. She is a lucky catch. One off our volunteers got her right now and tells us she is fantastic.

They named her M'lann and tells us that she has a very sweet disposition and think she is about 6 or 7 years old.

She has been a mother before. She looks relatively healthy and our volunteer took her to the vet this morning. This is a fantastic Amore dog, gentle and good with other dogs and children. What a girl.

THIS IS PAUL

This is happy Paul, a sweet happy content little dog that was saved by a nice family.
He is about 6 months old, castrated, vaccinated, so he has his little book. He is a border Collie mix and that means = energy and play

And after that, sleep and love.

He's great with kids, very playful and energetic and in no way aggressive. He is very smart and curious, so he checks out anything he sees. He loves to run and play.
The reason why the family like to give him up for adoption is that the husband travel a lot and his wife has her hands full with their 18-months-old.
For that little guy Paul is also a bit too much to handle. Although Paul acts carefully with him, he is just too playful and knocks him over every now and then, so the 2 have to be constantly watched when they play. Paul would be perfect for bigger kids.
This family that rescued Paul have done a great job loving him, washing him, making him healthy. Let us help them to find Paul a forever home with someone that loves out running, play outdoor with the kids....

GOLDENE PFOTE 2009--AWARD

We spoke to Tasso in Germany and due to all the people that visited their site, their server broke down. Please try again in 1-2 hours. On their website on the right hand side their will be a translation link. They are truly sorry for this.

Dear Friends of Animals Without Limits,
Our Dear Friends Malte and Sabine, took a great deal of time and effort to enter Animals Without Limits into an annual contest in Germany for organizations working to assist Animals. We were very thankful and flattered that they did so.
Guess what?! Animals Without Limits is among the 13 finalists for the 2009 prize. We have just one more hurdle to clear!
For one week from 24 November, people can go to the website http://www.blogger.com/www.tasso.net and vote for the organization most worthy of winning the 2009 "Golden Paw".
Its in German, but look for "Goldene Pfote 2009", then vote for Animals Without Limits. The judges will take the voting into consideration in their final decision, but it is not the only thing they will look at.
Animals Without Limits requests everyone go to the website and vote during the week after 24 NOV. Pass this to all your friends and relatives, as well... lets get a vote that goes viral!
Your efforts to do this will help us to win. We can only imagine the competition is stiff, but we think we have a worthy goal. Along with the Golden Paw trophy, the winner will receive 5000 Euros. This money would go a long way to establishing AWL's number one priority in Campania: a Hospice for sick, injured and elderly strays that is a safe and loving place for them to recuperate or live out their final days in dignity.
Please, pass this around to family, friends, coworkers and strangers. Lets get as many to vote for Animals Without Limits during the week of 24-29 November as possible.

Its during the Thanksgiving Holidays for Americans, so mark your calendar and don't forget amongst all the turkey dinner and pumpkin pie!
For the Animals,
